Panoramic hikes with a view

Pinzgau walk

The long-distance hike requires more fitness than one would expect from a “walk”. The Schattberg-X-Press Saalbach takes you to the mountain station Schattberg Ostgipfel. From there you hike via the Marxtenscharte, the Seetörl, the Klingelertörl, the Klammscharte and the Rohrertörl to the Schmittenhöhe. The Schmittenhöhebahn takes you back down into the valley to Zell am See. From there you take the post bus back to Saalbach.

Small hike along the Floraweg

Starting point for the panoramic hike is the mountain station of the Schattberg-X-Press. You hike to the Limbergalm and via the goods path back to the east summit of the Schattberg, where the cable car takes you back to Saalbach. Alternatively, a descent on foot via Jausern is possible.

Weißsee Glacier World

The Weißsee Gletscherwelt in Uttendorf is a high alpine adventure world. Located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park, at 2,300 meters above sea level, there you can enjoy a fabulous view over the nature reserve: white glaciers, crystal-clear mountain lakes and imposing three-thousand-meter peaks. Natural wonder Krimml Waterfalls
