Recreation and action at the Hotel Barbarahof

We, your hosts Roland and Katrin Steger, can’t wait to welcome you to the new garden paradise!

You can chill out: Connoisseurs can look forward to the new sun terrace and a dedicated barbecue and chill area. We feast together at the weekly barbecue evening. From grilled corn cobs to delicious gourmet fine meats to a wide selection of salads and side dishes. Or how about a few marshmallows at the ring of fire? That’s how it tastes – the summer in Saalbach-Hinterglemm!

Guests with a thirst for movement then exercise the calories very quickly. For example, on the new fitness course, the Slackline, the Sling Trainer or on the Power Rope. There is guaranteed to be no forehead dry!

Bikers and hard-working cyclists are also taken care of

After a day on the trails, the bike may look a bit taken away. Dusty or mud-covered bikes are cleaned again at the bike wash station. Use the tools provided on the assembly stand to get your favorite bike in shape.

And if you are not on the routes and trails of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm region? The bike can then be safely stored in the lockable bike garage.

Tip: The Hotel Barbarhof’s bike zone also includes a cool mini pump track. On this circuit, small bikers can practice pumping, i.e. accelerating by accelerating and relieving the mountain bike.

Highlights for children

For the young holidaymakers there are also many new products this summer. These include a playground with a play tower, a bobby car area, a covered sandpit and a trampoline. But what if the little ones get too hot while playing? Then they cool off in the small kids’ swimming pool.

In the evening, films are watched – in the in-house children’s cinema. Crispy popcorn from the popcorn machine and delicious juices are also available!

By the way: After a short, relaxed journey from the neighbor, the animal addition to the Hotel Barbarahof has now moved into its new home. Our son Felix helped diligently to make them comfortable. And as you can see, they feel poodle-like in the petting zoo – or perhaps you should say better: rabbit- and chicken-well.

Parents, watch out! Childcare is offered once a week in summer. The holiday will be even more beautiful …

Activities and summer highlight at the Hotel Barbarahof

Fun, exercise and relaxation are a top priority at the Barbarahof all year round. In summer, a programme of different activities is offered:

• Depending on the weather, fitness trainer Luisa’s sports program takes place from Thursday to Saturday. What to expect? A lot: from a sunrise hike over the morning run and active awakening to easy mountain bike tours and hikes to the valley end. You and your children can also put your skills to the test with a scavenger hunt on the motor skills trail.
• Or take on the challenge of Luisa’s decathlon on Saturday afternoon, followed by a cozy sundowner.
• There will also be a sundowner on Friday evening – including flair barkeeping by Mato and chill-out music. You can hardly end the day more relaxed.

You see: A lot has happened at the Hotel Barbarahof! But one thing always remains the same and that is the joy and cordiality with which the guests are welcomed. Maybe we can welcome you soon (again)!
