We will not let you down!
On March 15, the winter season also ended early for us in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. In the meantime, there is a yawning emptiness on the slopes – despite fantastic weather and although there was even some fresh snow again. Of course, one or the other now thinks wistfully of the cancelled skiing vacation, which understandably can no longer take place due to this difficult situation.
But one thing also becomes clear: vacation is not a priority now. The most important thing is the health of all of us. That is why we at Hotel Barbarahof welcome the regulatory requirements to close the businesses. Although we are concerned about the current news, we are nevertheless looking to the future with courage and confidence. Together we can do it!
Even if vacation planning plays only a secondary role at the moment: We are aware that many guests are now wondering what will happen to the vacation they have already booked. We, Katrin and Roland, would therefore like to give you a short update on the current booking situation.
You have booked a March vacation at Hotel Barbarahof: What happens now?
All bookings from March 15, 2020 onwards have been cancelled, and any deposits made to date have of course been refunded. If this was not yet the case with you, then please contact us!
You have booked your summer vacation with us – and now?
We would like to ask and would recommend you to wait before cancelling your booking. At the moment we do not know how long the current situation will last. So please do not rush!
Change in cancellation policy: In order to give us all more time to respond to developments in the best possible way, we have relaxed our cancellation policy. All direct bookings for the summer can be postponed or cancelled free of charge up to 21 days before the scheduled arrival.
By the way: Our discounted early bird rates for the summer remain valid – we have now even extended the deadline until June 15, 2020. Of course, the new cancellation conditions also apply in this case. If you book your vacation now, you can postpone or cancel it free of charge up to 21 days before the arrival date, if necessary.
How do I know if my vacation can take place or not?
Originally we had planned to reopen our hotel for the summer season with the end of May. However, we cannot say at the moment whether this will actually be the case. Let’s hope for the best …
We will keep you up to date! As usual, you will find the latest information on our website, in the newsletter and on Facebook and Instagram. In addition, we will inform affected guests early enough via email if we are unable to reopen the hotel until a later date. Don’t worry, we will let you know in time!
A small request …
Health has top priority. Therefore, our reception team now also works from home. Should there be unusually long waiting times, please have understanding and a little patience. We will do our best to process your requests as quickly as possible.
What else is close to our hearts
The current situation poses major challenges for all of us – regardless of the industry. Nevertheless, we try to make the best of the situation. The entire Steger family is well and we are currently enjoying time together with our loved ones.
I guess it’s true for each of us: let’s make the most of the time we have now! For the family, for things for which we otherwise “never find time”, to learn new things and to focus on all that is really important in life …
After every crisis, things eventually start to look up again. The “time after” will hopefully be all the more beautiful for it.
